SO HYPED THAT I MADE THIS BEFORE THE GAME EVEN CAME OUT.
AND I'M USING CAPS LOCK. ...wait, i do that all the time.

anyways.
this is ultra sword kirby. in addition to the awesome-looking new abilities of water and grass, kirby also gets these HUMONGOUS SWORDS. seriously, these are actually a bit too small. kirby should be about the size of the star emblem on the right sword.
lightning makes everything more awesome.

it began as a simple doodle at school.
about 12 layers on this one, FIVE OF WHICH ARE THAT STUPID HAT. uuugghhhh. those stupid crest thingies. took forever to make them look half-sideways. now they look better than the rest of the entire picture and out-of-place. oh well. at least i gave the impression that the star was glowing. airbrush tool is amazing. and the smudge, dodge/burn, and blur tools. digital art isn't hard. it's just time consuming.

There’s a separate version of this, with 9 other smaller kirbies to represent Kirby mass attack, but after I finally finished shading all the little twerps, it the image looked overcrowded. So I moved the background above all of them.

EDIT2: Beat it 100% (including the arenas) awhile ago. this game is dead to me now. all about that Rayman Origins.
